Reflections

In harmony with the commandment of God, the Father and the Holy Spirit, the birth of Cathedral Worship Center commenced in January, 2002 by Dr. R. Josef and Elder Michelle Moore. With much prayer and consecration, witnessing efforts began with the help of our precious teens, Christopher and Ashley Williams, and flyers announcing this Ministry were enthusiastically distributed to homes, apartment complexes, barber shops, beauty and nail salons, individuals walking along the streets or standing at a bus stop, bike riders, stores, restaurants, and the like. Additional persistent measures of advertisement continued via media (Cable TV and Radio).

For the purpose of conducting Worship services, and instructing parishioners in the Word of God, they secured an existing structure in Euclid, Ohio (The Master’s Church, 771 E. 260th Street).

It was here where our first Midweek Biblical Insight session was held on Wednesday evening, June 12, 2002 and the first official Sunday Worship held on July 7, 2002. As The Lord grew the ministry, we would remain faithful in the work. The anointed teaching and preaching was with power and demonstration. The Worship experienced in each service causes one to reflect on the Holiness and awesomeness of God and the purpose of His love and mercy demonstrated on a wooden cross on a hill called Calvary.

With much fasting and prayer, The Lord continued to expand the ministry
and we would need more space. The Church then moved to the campus
of the Center for Pastoral Leadership at 28700 Euclid Avenue with our
first service held inside the Sacred Heart Chapel on Palm Sunday, April 4, 2004
and the last service held on Wednesday, May 30, 2007. The Spirit of The Lord
would continue to convict hearts and save souls which resulted in families and
individuals joining this growing congregation.

As the impact of The God-given Vision would catapult the ministry to the next level, once again, The Lord favored us and brought us to this seven-acre campus and our first Sunday Worship service was held on June 3, 2007.

Phase I of the Renovation began in November, 2009 and on Resurrection Sunday, April 24, 2011, we worshiped The Lord in our new Main Sanctuary which will have the capacity to seat over 1,000 congregants. Together we say “To God Be The Glory” for the things only He has done!
